Ainka is a former dancer and track athlete. She has been exposed to a variety of body movement modalities over the years, including Yoga, Pilates, Rolfing, Gyrotonics, the Feldenkrais Method and the Alexander Technique. Ainka is a PMA® Certified Pilates Teacher, having trained at Personal Best Pilates Studio in Overland Park, KS and at Synergy Fitness Pilates Studio in Albany, CA. She completed her NASM® Certified Personal Trainer preparation at Mill Valley Health Club and Spa. She believes that so much more is possible when you show care to your body inside and out.
While many of Ainka’s early clients were focused on rehabilitation she is open to working with anyone who is eager to have more awareness of their body. She enjoys working in support of good health, stress reduction and general peace of mind by emphasising flexibility, strength and endurance. These are all aspects generally achieved through regular physical movement. Her clients have ranged in age from 20 to 75 years of age, and come to her with a variety of fitness experiences and goals.
